A year ago Crow Scare was brought out to take advantage of the Halloween atmosphere and did a damned fine job of it. 6 months later it came to a sudden and abrupt end. Had hopes for the Halloween Year 2 resurrection. Looks like it's not happening.

R.I.P. Crow Scare. It was fun while it lasted, and you will be remembered.

Soon, hopefully. A big reason for the delay is because my elderly uncle Brew McCloud, the creator and co-writer of CROW SCARE, has been out of town for a long while visiting an old friend who was hospitalized after a heart attack. I prefer to collaborate with him on each page's dialogue before putting it online, and I can't get in touch with him while he's away (he can't/won't use a computer and his hearing isn't up to snuff for most phone conversations). But I expect him to return shortly.

Hey, this goes to both you and Bobby. I enjoy your stories immensely, and while I'd like to see more frequent updates, I know that isn't possible sometimes. I don't hold it against you. ^_^ I read enough other webcomics that update regularly every other day or week to keep me occupied between updates on your comics. And I'm also the person that waits up to two years or so for a new chapter to one of my favorite fan-fiction series. I'm good at being patient, usually. Just know that not every fan has so little faith in you. Keep up the awesome work, and looking forward to more.

This is actually a different writer than Last Blood, and life does get in the way of comics. He also works on 3 other comics that update regularly...

Next week you say? Great news! I was just considering moving the bookmark to my "Inactive Comics" folder, but I guess I'll keep it in the active folder then ;-)

I love the comic by the way. You manage to handle suspense horror just great, which can be very tricky (judging from the low number of horror comics available).

I am patient. I was joking around with the Geological Time Scale comment. My comment on the missing posts was because all comments after 4 months ago were deleted for whatever reason. I see they are back now. I thought they were taken down on purpose instead of by mistake. I'm apparently mistaken which is good.
It would be good to at least hear that Crow Scare is still being worked on so I don't give up on the comic. I'm really digging it so far and I would love to see it finished, however long it does take.

There are hundreds of other webcomics for you to be reading while you wait.
