Is it just me, or does 'Itty Bitty Robby' look like Brandon Hardesty? (http://www.brandonhardesty.com/ for those of you who don't know. His stuff has been shown on the Sore Thumbs blog numerous times.) Is that a hint for the movie fellas? Or am I just crazy?

Just wanted to say that I followed an ad from Something*Positive to this and I really like it. The artwork is done well and the story appears to be getting underway. Keep it up, I've just bookmarked the site for the future.
He's always got good ideas ready. Why yesterday, he posted multiple comics for the same update w/an appropriate ranting. (his wheels are always turning ;) )
The artwork is really fantastic, and you have a good concept, but the storyline is horrible. You're characters seem too simple and overly done to be believable, and you're dialog is so full of cursing that it comes off as being the only thing in your vocabulary.
Also, all of your characters' introductions so far have been cliche. For instance, when I'm riding in a car with a friend of mine, I don't punctuate our conversation with his name. It's just a way for poor storytellers to introduce their characters' names in the first panel they enter the story because they cannot think of any other way to do it.
So do yourself a favor and put as much effort into the actual story and dialogue as you obviously do in your artwork.

At some point is it going to be established that not everyone who kills crows attracts the monster? Pretty much every farmer in America has shot a few of them. They're a pest animal. Of course, it would a boring story if someone pointed out that the crow king doesn't do a very good job of providing security for his life mates. Letting them hang around a machine gun firing range? Not a good idea.
Of course, this might not be the Crow King. It might be the sparrow king, and doofus there had one splat off his windshield just before sundown, thus insuring his doom.
Anyhow, good art.

I don't mind the 'lack of blood and guts' to be honest, I think it's just the right amount. I love the shadowy, creepy feel to the Crow King, and I think too much of the gore would trivialize the nightterrorishness of it.
